I have been living overseas for 25 years and wasn't sure about the obligations of US citizens in regards to tax filing. I paid tax in the country I was living in and thought I was ok. Come to find out, I was wrong and now my banks and PayPal were asking for my TIN. I checked it out and OH my, I was supposed to file in the US also. "Tax time" can be a very harrowing time for many people and most do not get warm, fuzzy feelings when speaking of the IRS. During this time, it's very important to find a tax expert who is not only knowledgeable about the various tax laws, but one who actually listens and is able to correctly apply that knowledge to each individual, unique situation. I found such a person-Mr Randall Brody, tax expert extraordinaire. Filing my taxes may not be as complicated as others, but they're also not the quickest or the easiest. No short forms for me!
