Our First Outreach Program
📍 Rise Above Foundation Cebu – Cebu, Philippines
Our outreach journey began in June 2025 with a special activity during our first team retreat in the Philippines—volunteering with the inspiring Rise Above Foundation Cebu. This local nonprofit supports families through education, health, and livelihood programs, and we were honored to contribute to their mission in our own small way.
Our team spent the day preparing and serving warm, nutritious meals to over 500 children and families in the local community. We also had the chance to connect with the kids, playing games, chatting, and sharing plenty of laughter. It was a hands-on experience that brought our “Happy to Help” value to life in the most genuine way.
The impact was mutual. As much as we gave, we also received—gratitude, perspective, and a renewed sense of purpose. It reminded us that being a Tax Samaritan goes far beyond tax prep. It’s about showing up with compassion, lending a hand where it’s needed, and building community through simple, meaningful acts of service.
It was a humbling and joyful start to something we hope to do more often—small efforts that make a real difference, wherever we can.
